Project Description

The NIT Crane Maintenance Facility is a multi-story, pre-engineered metal building with an architectural block façade around the first floor perimeter and steel siding / Kalwall panels above. The facility houses 54,064 square feet of shop maintenance floor space & offices, engineering administrative offices, and a control tower penthouse for yard operations. Site work includes the excavation for concrete foundations, underground utilities (storm, sanitary, water, electrical, and data communications). Also included are asphalt paving and reinforced concrete tarmac / floor slabs. The building structure includes structural steel, various personnel & high bay roll-up doors, windows, elevator, a mechanical vertical lift, stairs, windows, two (2) 20-ton bridge cranes, and associated mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Estimated Construction Cost: $7,074,517
