Project Description
The project involves construction of a new parking lot for Privately Owned Vehicles (POV's) and a new parking lot for on-terminal vehicles such as buses, hustlers, and pickups. The entrance to the POV parking lot will be on Baker Street . The project also involves an access road that parallels the railroad tracks to be improved from a gravel surface to heavy-duty pavement for bus and truck traffic (approximately 2000' in length). The project requires improvements to the current infrastructure by adding multiple ductbanks that extend north and south of the parking lot site. This project also includes E&S control, site demolition, earthwork, drainage, cast in place concrete, asphalt pavement, pavement striping, signing, security fencing and gates, utilities, site lighting, and all other miscellaneous items specified within the Construction Plans and Specifications.
