Project Description
The project involves the work necessary to install four (4) new crane tie--downs and two (2) new crane stowage sockets in the concrete wharf and relocate four (4) existing crane tie-downs and two (2) existing crane stowage sockets that are embedded in the Pier C concrete deck at Newport News Marine Terminal. Work will include all concrete demolition, cast-in-place concrete, reinforcing steel, structural steel and structural welding necessary to relocate the old and install the new tie-downs.
