Project Description
The project consists of Installation of radiation detector portals at the main truck entrance at Portsmouth Marine Terminal. The portals will be temporarily installed on the two outbound lanes of the terminal. The stands will be mounted on temporary metal skids with a concrete counterweight in place of the permanent concrete foundations. The final installations will be made when the new Main Entrance Police Canopy is constructed. Similar radiation detectors have already been installed at Norfolk International Terminals and Newport News Marine Terminal.
